Michael Cameron

With 20+ years experience in the industry, Michael is an accomplished Content Producer, Director and Videographer. He has worked with major brands like the Toronto Raptors and Toyota, famous musical including Drake, Billy Talent and Great Big Sea, and has been featured in numerous film festivals across Canada.

When he moved to the Waterloo region, he found he had a problem. Anytime he had a local shoot, he had to bring people in from Toronto, as he didn’t know any local crew yet. So, he created the Tri-Cities Film Network to expand his local network and help create more opportunities for Waterloo region professionals. Now, the network helps support hundreds of local filmmakers, helped people get hired on sets, and made connections that spawned dozens of local films and creative projects since we started in the winter of 2024.

Michael is also an avid skier and hiker, and can often be seen walking the town with his dog Puppy The Vampire Slayer.
